I was born in Mwanza, Tanzania in East Africa and moved back to India at age 5.  I did all my schooling in India and graduated from the Government Medical School in Vadodara, Gujarat in 1981.  After passing the qualifying exams for residency in Medicine, I immigrated to the US in 1983. I then finished my Medical Residency at the Newton Wellesley Hospital and a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at the St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

I joined Internists Associated in 1991 and have been in practice with Dr. Simon Weitzman and Dr. Jacqueline Feuer since then. I enjoy seeing both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine patients, am board certified in both and was named clinical Assistant professor on Medicine at Tufts Medical school.

We are affiliated with Partners Healthcare through the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and remain affiliated with the Beth Israel hospital-Needham and the Newton Wellesley Hospital.  I also hold privileges at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

My wife Patricia and I have been married for the past 19 years and have one son.  I look forward to taking care of my patient for many years. I am fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
